Thyroid Condition_symptoms Teaching attitude

These days I am resuming my activities as a teacher. Election of hours, preparing materials prior to the start of classes, preliminary coordination meetings, and other schedule adjustments. The whole environment brings us to prepare for a new year of classes.

this afternoon going over some notes in a book by Charles Handy: The organization from within, and in one chapter presents a chapter entitled "The inverted donut." I was reminded of some conversations with fellow teachers, and tried to take advantage of this. No shortage of colleagues who put their problems to "control" and lead a class, issues of discipline and attitude of students' work.

usually work with studyTES that start in high school (Junior), a level which itself is often difficult to manage, by the change of environment, fears, and everything around them. Unfortunately, sometimes we do not know how to deal with this situation, and usually go straight against the students. Precisely, which quoted Charles Handy chapter I mentioned earlier, cites the experience in the British educational system, which in the 80's teachers complained of a similar theme. After some studies have concluded that the problem was solved quickly by a change of attitude from the teacher: to highlight the good attitude, a good job, a nice gesture of the student, and ignore the bad behavior. Applying that premise made "to fashion good conduct" andn just three weeks.

I found the experience in my own case. Every year I meet students who resite to "collaborate" in class, or not work correctly. Even students with serious problems that prevent them from properly perform their studies. Pamper (as suggested by Handy Ch) achieves excellent results in a short time. And compared with results in class (it does a more peaceful), with performance on tasks (the students strive to be creative) and year-end (a few students will test for poor performance).

teacher is responsible for achieving a good atmosphere in class, and is accomplished with simple things. Although in reality we are not friends of each student, friendly gesturess, words of praise, work out a good (however simple it may seem) makes the student get the best of it the next time. While we can ignore that a reasonable measure their conduct, there will be time to ask him to improve in that attitude after winning a common ground. The teacher is also responsible for implementation of the example. The book I mentioned is not a manual for teachers, rather these organizations in general. But it contains many tips for all activity. Something I've learned is that our environment is molded to the general attitude of who runs the company. In the case of a classroom the same thing happens: students end up being a reflection of what they see or are allowed around. A good influence will help them achieveexcellent year, and many of them just need a good reference, not who they are accused.

Anyway, come the classes, and although there are classes that are a challenge (like all jobs), is a great satisfaction to achieve goals, being open to new trends, or good qualities. Technorati
